Our Classes

The AED, CPR and First Aid certification course from Health Safety Institute,  consistent with the 2020 ILCOR (International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation) Guidelines and OSHA’s Best Practice Guide: Fundamentals of a Workplace.  Option for Pediatric or Adult focused AEDCPRFA.

This is a great class for those whose employment requires AEDCPRFA certification or for those wanting to increase their personal knowledge and skills.  This is the community level of AEDCPRFA, not for medical/health care professionals.  See Basic Life Support, BLS.

Topics include:  Legal considerations, personal safety, control of bleeding, burns, severe allergic reactions, stroke, diabetes, & environmental emergencies, sudden cardiac arrest, airway obstruction and the use of automated external defibrillator.  

Certification:  Two (2) years.  Incudes student workbook.   

Class Time:  4 hours;  90 minutes with Hybrid/Blended Learning option.

Age:   Recommended for Adults ~ 16 years of age +
